SecureLockManager Easy sets, or changes, a hardware encryption password for your external hard drive. The software can also manually connect or disconnect the drive. Once disconnected, the drive is locked.
On a designated secure and trusted computer it's also possible to mount the encrypted drive automatically by activating that option and saving the password credentials in settings.
Important: if you lose your password all data is lost. However, you can make the drive itself usable again by re-formatting it.

Encrypting the whole drive with SecureLockManager Easy might have its uses; however, this is not always desired. With SecureLockMobile you can keep encrypted and unencrypted data on the same drive by creating one or more encrypted data containers on your hard drive. Files are password protected once moved into an encrypted container.
Important: remember to always keep a backup and make sure that the only files you wish to protect are in the encrypted container(s).
