Fast burn speeds

The Blu-ray™ drive is capable of up to 8x Blu-ray® write speed using a USB 3.0 connection and with TurboUSB® technology (and up to 5.6x Blu-ray® write speed using a USB 2.0 connection). The 8x write speeds are achievable when using the BD-R media. It is also capable of reading and writing to a wide range of DVD and CD media.
