Buffalo brings High Definition to the masses with LinkTheatre HD Multimedia Player

London, UK, 4 March 2008 – Buffalo Technology has today launched a high definition (HD), low cost multimedia player to the market. The LinkTheater™ HD [LT-H90LAN], allows users to stream high-definition content across a wired network at a very competitive price.
Due to the high resolution streaming capabilities of the player, it is perfect for owners of high-definition video cameras, those wanting to enjoy HD films, high resolution photos and music. Media files can be streamed through the device from a number of sources, including a Buffalo LinkStation Live™ and TeraStation Live™, or other DLNA1 certified NAS devices. Content can also be accessed from a networked PC; USB flash drive; or straight from a video/digital camera itself, making it an easy way to bring your home network into the living room.
Its intuitive TV-based interface lets consumers easily browse media content on the connected devices via a remote control. Users can also open network shares directly from the device, to facilitate easy file sharing. The player also enables photos to be viewed in a slideshow and allows playback of several short movies in a row. The compact size of the LinkTheater™ HD, makes it the perfect addition to any home.
