How AOSS™ works:

Automatically sets up your wireless network

You can set up the most secure wireless network quickly and easily with the AirStation OneTouch Secure System (AOSS™).

The AirStation OneTouch Secure System (AOSS™) automatically detects and configures other AOSS-enabled wireless devices and clients in your network.

It then seamlessly negotiates the most secure connection possible between your wireless devices.

Connects to your multiple devices with ease

Use AOSS to connect multiple devices in your wireless network with push button ease:

Ethernet Converter to Router:

• Press AOSS button (1) on the router to initiate the AOSS session.
• Press the AOSS button on the Ethernet Converter (3).
• DONE - A secure connection is automatically established between the Router and the Ethernet Converter.

Notebook Adapter to Router:

• Press AOSS button (1) on the router to initiate the AOSS session.
• Click the AOSS button (2) in the Buffalo Client Manager Software.
• DONE - A secure connection is automatically established between the Router and Notebook.

Automatically sets up your wireless network

When two or more AOSS clients are connected to the AOSS network, the client and router will automatically negotiate the highest level of security that the clients and router can support.

In the above example, one of the AOSS clients supports both WEP and WPA level encryption (TKIP and AES), while the other supports only WEP.

AOSS automatically adjusts the security to a level that both clients support. All Buffalo wireless products support WPA level of security.
